Red lacquer desk designed for private client

A red lacquer desk from White Allom Studio's bespoke furniture range has been custom designed by NH Design for a private client in New York.

This red lacquer desk was integral to the client's interior-design scheme and was matched to a specific colour by the artists at White Allom Studio.

According to Nicky Haslam of NH Design, the desk is sleek and shiny.

As well as high-gloss lacquer, White Allom Studio specialises in hand-painted furniture and can recreate just about anything from faux burr oak or shagreen to a Scandinavian or distressed rustic paint effect.

Its custom-made furniture is often ordered in conjunction with harmonious wall finishes.

Paint finishes are priced from GBP40 per square metre.
