Victorian Woodworks supplies timber flooring

A Victorian Woodworks product story

Victorian Woodworks has supplied its timber flooring solutions for a new bar, cafe, deli and restaurant on Bournemouth's seafront.

Situated on Boscombe Seafront, within the regenerated Overstrand development, Urban Reef overlooks Europe's first artificial surf reef.

Set over two floors, it includes a mezzanine on the second floor and a large sundeck stretching down to the beach.

On the ground floor there is a cafe bar for snacks and cocktails, as well as the Urban Beach deli.

Victorian Woodworks recommended 120m2 of its 21mm Engineered Smoked European Oak with a lacquer finish to complement the design of the restaurant.

This timber is extremely hard-wearing and will therefore meet the demands of such a heavy-traffic commercial environment.

'Victorian Woodworks provided me with a floor that fitted the brief perfectly and they also offered a very friendly and professional service,' said Mark Cribb, owner of Urban Reef.
