Victorian Woodworks supplies timber flooring

A Victorian Woodworks product story

Victorian Woodworks has provided timber flooring for the Footasylum store at the Westfield shopping centre in London.

The 3,000ft2 (280m2) store is said to be influenced by a 19th century asylum with a modern twist.

The walls are dark grey, with a brickwork panel in the middle.

Footasylum's lime-green branding appears throughout the store on wooden shelving units and leather stools.

Victorian Woodworks provided slow-grown Russian oak engineered boards.

These were pre-finished with a dark, rich stain, which, when installed, portrayed a chocolate-brown floor in contrast with the steel bars on the walls, according to the company.
