Varenna, the kitchen arm of Poliform, has launched the Twelve kitchen, which is said to pioneer a slick, slim-line trend.

Designed by architect Carlo Colombo, the design features a 12mm-thick worktop and components.

Moving away from the traditionally chunky kitchen, Twelve incorporates minimal horizontal thicknesses and maximum wideness of the surfaces, intended to create sophistication in any kitchen space.

Absent of handles, the Twelve kitchen functions with an electronic sensory opening system.

Various finishes are available, including glossy lacquers and new wood materials such as Spessart Oak.
