Designers Bunny Turner and Emma Pocock have gone into partnership with artist Catherine Cazalet to create a wallpaper collection, which can be divided into two themes: English sports and wild animals.

Both ranges are claimed to have a strong contemporary feel but respect traditional English influences in colour, subject and pattern.

The designers said they wanted to show customers that wallpaper can be modern and can even provide an atmospheric backdrop to a room.

Some of the animal wallpapers are said to be suitable for use in children's bedrooms.

The Polar Bear and Ostrich papers, for instance, are described as fun alternatives to the usual children's images and are ideal for parents decorating a nursery.

There are also more sophisticated papers in animal range, according to the designers.

The neutrally toned Ibis papers are described as elegant; the organic drift of birds is intended to create a calming backdrop to both commercial and residential environments.

The sports range builds on the small pattern repeat of more traditional papers; the overall feel is said to be transformed by the use of a contemporary colour palette, ranging from taupes to electric greens.

The bats and balls fade into geometric shapes, making the paper suitable for sporty and design-conscious customers.

All designs are hand drawn and printed in the UK using environmentally sustainable materials.

Wallpaper is sold in 10m rolls and retails at GBP70.50 per roll including VAT.
