Surface, a retailer of tiles, mosaic and stone, is to host a tile-design open day on 1 July to coincide with the launch of its refurbished showroom in Queenstown Road, London.

The free-to-attend event, which will run from 09:00 until 20:30, will offer advice clinics, design demos and new products to provide ideas and tips for anyone planning to redesign their bathroom, kitchen, hallway, garden or anywhere else in the home requiring hard surfaces.

There will be discount offers of up to 40 per cent on selected ranges, including the latest introductions, along with a free 3D design session with a Surface designer, worth GBP100.

Specialists will explain how the use of tiles can enhance schemes in the house and the garden.

The Battersea showroom has been given a complete makeover and has been restocked to showcase the latest trends in tile designs and manufacturing technologies to produce surface products.

A selection of interior designers will be available throughout the day to take part in the advice clinics.

Designers will include Nicky Dobree, whose work has featured on television programme 'Grand Designs Abroad'.
