Surface Tiles has announced that from 7 May it will be offering a selection of new tiles with 20 per cent off as part of its spring sale.

The company has selected a variety of new designs, technologies and materials for immediate introduction to its high-street stores.

The I Preziosi collection features warm white marble-simulated tiles combined with porcelain-simulated timber panels

In addition, the Value range will be discounted by a further 30 per cent, with sale prices from GBP27.55 per square metre.

Customers can choose from minimal black or white porcelain tiles or engineered stone options in warm tones with subtle veining, limestone, pale creamy hues and concrete-inspired greys.

All are available in large-format sizes for up-to-the-minute looks and with rectified edges for a clean-cut finish.

Among the new collections on offer are two porcelain ranges that simulate natural stone and that use the latest in digital printing and ultra-thin production technology.

The I Preziosi collection is said to herald a return to a more classic and restrained style that is elegant, natural and mature.

Warm white marble-simulated tiles combine with porcelain-simulated timber panels to create a traditional feel, according to the company.

I Preziosi will be priced from GBP77.08 per square metre.

Surface claims that the new Stontech Slim tile range echoes the delicate characteristics and subtle pigmentation of natural stone in eight colours, without any of the performance flaws inherent in the natural material.

Stontech Slim will be priced from GBP62.98 per square metre.

Available in large sheet sizes, these tiles are thinner than their conventional predecessors.

This means that they are lighter, easier to cut, quicker to lay and more eco-friendly as fewer resources are required for their manufacture and transportation.

Fabric is another new arrival and presents a contemporary twist for marble with its cross-carved texture.

On display in soft grey tones, this range is described as luxurious and calming.

Introductory prices are from GBP177.35 per square metre.

The Suite collection features pure neutral tones and a delicate surface texture.

Available in four colours and three versatile sizes - 600 x 600mm, 300 x 300mm and 300 x 600mm - this through-bodied porcelain tile also has a matching mosaic mix in contrasting earthy colours with its shiny glass tessera.
