Stairrods introduces skirting corner protectors
The new Skiffers from Stairrods (UK) protect skirting corners from scuffing and becoming chipped, while ensuring that new paintwork and varnish remain pristine.
Shabby paintwork or worn varnish can create a negative impression and the corners of wooden skirting are particularly vulnerable to premature damage caused by vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, suitcases and heavy foot traffic, according to the company.
The Skiffers corner protectors are shown here in satin nickel.
Whether in a private home or a public place, such as a restaurant, guest house or function room, Skiffers will provide protection and create a decorative feature.
Cast in solid brass, the corner protectors are available in seven finishes - polished, satin and antique brass, satin nickel, chrome, pewter and black - which complement existing door thresholds, door furniture and stair rods.
There are three alternative sizes, dependent on the depth of the skirting board - 75mm, 117mm and 134mm - supplied in packs of six.
Each Skiffer is provided with six screws in a matching finish.
