Spaceway creates 'green' headquarters for Deverill

A Spaceway Group product story
Edited by the Interiorstalk editorial team Nov 5, 2009

Spaceway has transformed a building in Poole into the energy-efficient headquarters of Deverill, an IT solutions and training company.

Deverill's new space provides its head-office staff with a modern working environment and features energy-efficient lighting and an ecological use of natural lighting.

The 7,655ft2 (711m2) building comprises office space, a training suite and meeting rooms.

Spaceway assisted the design process with the latest auto computer-aided-design drawings.

Kameo partitioning systems with full-height glazing were specified to provide maximum light, together with veneer doors and a special hammer-effect paint finish for the skirting boards and frames.

To make best use of available file storage space and to soundproof the boardroom, Spaceway created a product called Storagewall, which is a curvy door design.

To complete the look, Spaceway applied a Contravision window film to the glass panels, displaying a reproduced panoramic digital photograph of Poole harbour.
