Sofaclassics offers durable upholstery materials

Sofaclassics has added a line of eco-friendly upholstery materials - ideal for homes with young children or dogs, for example - to its range of fabrics and leathers.

These hardwearing, quality leatherettes are scratch resistant and come with the built-in Sanitized anti-bacterial protection.

The materials used are also stain resistant and waterproof.

According to the company, dirt and marks simply wash off with water.

Patrice Clough, company director, said: 'We wanted to give our customers the choice of using environmentally friendly products that are kind to animals and a great option for vegans.

'Our leather alternatives look so much like leather that no one will be able to tell the difference as they touch and feel like leather,' added Clough.

The range features a selection of textures, including leather grain, velvets, box patter, animal prints, metallic, embossed, antiqued and plain leather looks.

A choice of more than 100 colours is also available in PVC and PU combinations.
