Parapan acrylic grooves create surface design

High-gloss Parapan acrylic can feature grooves to create a surface design.

Fine lines can be vertical or horizontal and any width apart to create patterns or to follow neighbouring drawer lines.

Available in 21 shades, the colours running through this solid acrylic are UV stable and will not fade, according to Parapan.

The company also claims that the colour will not chip and that minor blemishes can easily be repaired.

Parapan acrylic is impervious to water, meaning that it will not rot, craze or delaminate.

It is described as a glossy, durable, solid acrylic that offers a creative medium for kitchen, bedroom and bathroom designers.

In the standard 18mm thickness, Parapan is suitable for vertical surfaces, such as cabinet fronts, panelling, cupboard doors and drawers.

It can also be cut to any size and can be thermoformed into curves, according to the company.

The 4mm thickness is said to be suitable for splash backs, light pelmets, cornices or front panels for built-in appliances.
