Jam has announced that it has accepted a limited number of commissions for Paperless, a chandelier made from 50,000 paperclips that it created in 2003.

The company originally created the chandelier for the Waste to Taste exhibition at London auction house Sotheby's seven years ago.

Commissioned by curator Janice Blackburn as the centrepiece of her exhibition, Jam looked at the implications of the 'paperless office' and considered how unwanted paperclips could be used.

The original chandelier from Sotheby's went on to be auctioned in New York by Phillips de Pury and Company and has found a home with a private contemporary art collector.

It was sold for USD40,000 (GBP26,000).
