Glass showcases Noor Steam hydrotherapy concept

The Noor Steam hydrotherapy concept, created by Glass Idromassaggio, was showcased at the KBB exhibition in Birmingham in March 2010.

Noor Steam offers made-to-measure solutions, with configuration and size options to suit almost any corner or niche in the bathroom.

Incorporating a contemporary design and components, Noor Steam is a tailor-made shower enclosure that transforms into a steam cabin.

With the working parts integrated into the ceiling and the control column of Noor Steam, the bather benefits from a spacious cabin interior and a clean-lined design, according to the company.

The cabin includes a 380 x 380mm stainless-steel overhead shower.

The control column, which can be freely positioned within the enclosure, is also crafted from stainless steel and is equipped with three adjustable square body jets, a thermostatic mixer (with a diverter, a light, a steam function with manual control and an aromatherapy dispenser) and a hand shower with a flexible hose.

The enclosure itself is made from 6mm toughened glass and can be ordered in size widths from 1,000mm to 1,600mm.

An optional Shining Glass anti-limescale treatment facilitates cleaning.

Glass claims that concealed wall profiles and no visible screws provide a seamless finish and also make the cabin easier to clean, while watertight shower performance is ensured from the drip profiles, which have been tested to withstand shower delivery of up to 11 litres of water per minute.

Noor Steam can be fitted onto a tiled floor or a shower tray.
