Felt's latest shipment of Shrydak rugs from Kyrgyzstan features designs in bright shades as well as calm neutrals, offering decorative possibilities for both contemporary and traditional interiors.

Made by hand in the Tien Shan Mountains of Kyrgyzstan, these natural wool rugs are hand sewn with geometric surface patterns in coloured felts over a tough flattened felt base.

Each of the Shrydaks features an individual motif, chosen to bestow blessings or to describe nomadic life in the mountains.

The rugs are ideal for both floors and walls and sizes range from small (0.8 x 1m) to room sized (2 x 3.5m).

Prices start at GBP280.

Felt's rugs have full Kyrgyz government accreditation.
