Stainless-steel fireplace features elongated flame

Ecosmart Fire has introduced the bespoke stainless-steel XL Burner, which has an elongated flame and can be installed into any non-combustible surface.

This means that the fire can be incorporated into an existing design; alternatively, a feature wall can be built around it.

The XL Burner is fuelled by denatured ethanol - an environmentally friendly, renewable fuel.

The clean burning nature of ethanol means that the burner does not require a flue to remove toxins, making it simple to install into any room of the house, from the living room to the bathroom, according to the company.

The XL Burner includes a shut-off mechanism that has a hinged plate adjustment rather than a sliding mechanism.

The burner measures 133mm in height, 908mm in width and 193mm in depth.

It costs around GBP3,000.
