Duravit fittings specified for Dubai skyscraper

Duravit has supplied more than 1,000 Starck 1 vanity units, almost 4,000 WCs and bidets and more than 1,600 baths and whirlpools for a new 828m-high skyscraper building in Dubai.

The Burj Khalifa building, which has been known as Burj Dubai until now, was built by Emaar Properties and was officially opened on 4 January 2010.

Over the last 20 years, Duravit has collaborated with Philippe Starck, Sieger Design and Lord Norman Foster and has developed a variety of bathroom and wellness products.
