Garden room to feature Dupont Corian surfaces

Kiwi and Pom is to exhibit a garden room concept featuring Dupont Corian surfaces at this year's 100 Per Cent Design exhibition on 23-26 September.

The Dupont Corian material, a high-performance solution for interior cladding and exterior facades, is used all over the walls, from interior to exterior.

This material has already been used on the exterior of several structures, including hotels, a playground pavilion and luxury villas.

Dupont Corian is also utilised for decorative wall cladding in many high-impact interior schemes, both residential and commercial.

At 100 Per Cent Design 2010, Kiwi and Pom will apply the material to a curving facade of a studio-style cabin, as well as to various integrated interior elements including storage and furniture.

Dupont Corian's homogeneity, ultraviolet resistance, non-porosity and easy-care durability also make it suitable for garden applications and the Kiwi and Pom project will include planters and green 'living walls' by Biotecture.

The Dupont Zodiaq quartz surface also features in the scheme as 'herringbone' flooring and in furniture designs.

Some of the latest colour options for Dupont Corian include choices with recycled content.

Also available is the digitally carved 3D Math collection of decorative wall panels.
