Offering 15 possible temperatures and five flow rates per temperature, the Evolution shower is available in any of the 100 colours of Dupont Corian.

The temperature selections are reprogrammable.

There is also an automatic divert control, meaning that, with the touch of a button, the user can change the output from showerhead to bath or basin.

The system works with standard fittings such as overhead and handheld showers and will also be available with a specially designed showerhead also made from Dupont Corian in mid-2010.

The flow rate is indicated by the size of the button: the larger the button, the faster the flow and visa versa.

Each row of small to large buttons, from left to right, is the same temperature, therefore giving five different flow rates per temperature.

The temperature is indicated by the distance of the button from the red dot at the top and the blue dot at the bottom.

Altogether, there are eight rows from top to bottom, which give a total of 15 temperature selections.

To select a temperature with one finger, the user can touch any button in any row.

By selecting two buttons at once, one above the other, the temperature between the two rows is selected, thereby providing another virtual button but a 'real' temperature.

Fingertip control also provides audio feedback using custom-designed sounds, including voice feedback, to command a selected function.

Dupont Corian fittings are said to be easy to maintain, with no seams, nooks or crannies.

The system also has its own smart 'clean' mode, which disables all buttons, allowing the user to clean the panel without getting unintentionally wet.
