Katy Black, marketing executive at the CP Group, explains how customers can inject personality into their homes through modular flooring.

According to Black, when it comes to flooring, tiles remain a popular choice because they are hardwearing and easy to clean.

This makes them suitable for areas subject to heavy traffic or in households with children or pets.

They are also a simple way to transform an off-the-shelf kitchen through the use of interesting textures and finishes and by capitalising on their design flexibility.

She said: 'For example, using multi-sized tiles can create a wide variety of patterns and designs for a truly bespoke finish.

'Our Quattro collection is our most flexible yet, offering four different sizes of floor tile, which can be combined to create a range of different looks from traditional to contemporary and modular.

'Such creativity with tiles means you can create highly individual yet complementary looks in the home such as distinct zones within an open-plan living space - without losing the overall impact of the room.

'For instance, while the kitchen area may adopt a more traditional brickwork design, social areas that lead off it, such as the lounge or conservatory, could feature a free-flowing rather than a uniform arrangement to emphasise the relaxed nature of the space,' added Black.
