Cosentino, a provider of quartz surfaces and natural stone, has launched the Silestone Blanco Zeus Extreme worksurface.

This white quartz worksurface features antibacterial protection, which is claimed to last the lifetime of the surface.

Silestone worktops are made from up to 93 per cent natural quartz crystals and seven per cent pigments, resin, mirror and glass and have a high resistance to scratch, stain and heat.

It also helps fight the growth of micro-organisms and harmful bacteria that may be on the surface, such as E.coli, Salmonella, Listeria, Staphlococcus and MRSA.

With a 10-year warranty, Silestone worktops are made from up to 93 per cent natural quartz crystals and seven per cent pigments, resin, mirror and glass and have a high resistance to scratch, stain and heat.

Silestone is available in more than 100 different colour options and in a polished, finished or leather-effect textured matt finish.

Priced from GBP400 per square metre, Silestone is available through a network of fabricators.
