Armstrong Ceilings has unveiled its 12th Book of Ideas, which comprises a series of interactive themed presentations focusing on monolithic ceilings.

Monolithic ceilings contribute towards the sustainable, acoustic and visual comfort of a space by using special edge details or large ceiling module solutions, according to the company.

These illustrate, for example, how to use Armstrong's Vector edge to virtually conceal the grid, enabling a monolithic ceiling that also guarantees full access to the plenum.

The crisp, clean detailing of the edge reduces the visible width of the grid to form a plain, smooth ceiling that looks as if it is freely suspended from wall to wall.

The 3D animations illustrate how to use large board edge ceiling modules to create a monolithic finish and how - using Armstrong's Tech Zone, a solution to design contemporary, technical zones with the integration of service elements - to integrate continuous technical features for a clean visual.

Finally, the Book of Ideas illustrates how to use Armstrong's designer grid to create a design feature with a thinner reveal effect.

Previous Armstrong books have focused on environmentally friendly options, acoustics, wellbeing in the workplace and the company's range of canopy systems.
