Alison Yule Textiles presents hand-woven fabrics

Alison Daykin of Alison Yule Textiles showcased her latest work at the recent 100 Per Cent Design event.

Her designs are claimed to bring fabric to life by fusing contemporary design with traditional fibres.

Daykin displayed her hand-woven products, which include wall panels, rugs, cushions, window hangings and clothing.

Her work is characterised by unusual colour combinations and original, tactile textiles.

Daykin claims that her designs are often inspired by her surroundings.

Each piece is hand woven using rich, textural techniques with simple, effective designs.

The fabrics used are suitable for traditional and modern interior settings, complementing furniture such as Roche Bobois, Minotti, Sevensolotti and Linge Roset, while her suiting fabrics are claimed to set off classic and contemporary wardrobes.
